Paris celebrations!

The Paris office arranged a surprise celebration for Michele Alguacil on the 29th November to mark her 15th anniversary with the company together with her 60th birthday! Those who attended the cocktail event at the Plaza Athenee witnessed Michele’s surprise and emotion when she was welcomed by friends and over 70 close professional contacts from all over France and beyond. François Delahaye was unable to attend due to professional obligations out of the country but recorded a moving speech which was shown to Michele and guests on the evening, reminding her of his appreciation for her confidence in him and the fact that she was responsible for his recruitment at the Plaza Athenee.

The evening was beautifully orchestrated by the events team at the hotel, champagne flowed freely and guests were delighted by the wonderful and creative array of canapés. A big thank you to all those who kept the secret and participated in this enjoyable evening to make the occasion extra special for Michèle and her dream team in Paris as shown on the above picture; from left to right Sandra Lemoalle, Search Assistant, Elsa Maitrehenry, Specialist Consultant Food & Beverage and Chefs, Pascal Guillory, Senior Consultant covering Rooms, Finance, Human Resources and sharing a number of senior appointments with Michele who raises her glass to the continued success of Profile, Alison Caralis in charge of Sales and Marketing recruitments who will be on maternity leave for a few months effective February 2008, Mark Norris, and James Hey, respectively Group Chief Executive and Group Executive Director who came over from London to host this major internal celebration.

This was an opportune occasion for Mark and Michele to announce the appointment of Pascal Guillory as Deputy Director of Profile’s Paris office in recognition of his ten years of significant achievement, loyalty and hard work.

Congratulations to Pascal on this well deserved promotion.
